A. Introduction
For typing Vietnamese only on the computer, we have
so many keyboard driver to be used, for example: WinVNKey, UniKey, VPSKeys,
GoTiengViet, Vietkey, etc .... But when we need to type a few letters of a
foreign language in the article, for example: French, Russian, German,
Italian, Spanish, Czech, Norwegian, etc. ..., then we can only use
WinVNKey. The other Vietnamese keyboards is not supported this function.
The focus of this article is guiding how to use WinVNKey to type more than
30 languages. Besides, there are other short instructions on: how to download
WinVNKey, how to type Vietnamese and Han-Nom.
B. Download WinVNKey & Type
Vietnamese
WinVNKey is free. In WinVNKey home page http://winvnkey.sf.net, click the
word "Download", will appear the page containing the versions.
Let download the latest version.
Those who have not mastered the computer, or are new to Vietnamese
keyboard, can read the basic tutorial “Download WinVNKey &
Type Vietnamese” to know how to download and type Vietnamese.

It is easy to type more than 30 languages (alphabetically):

• How to type other
languages ?
To type other languages, we just do few steps:
a)
Run
WinVNKey.
b)
From
Main page of WinVNKey > Click the "Languages" tab.
c)
WinVNKey
will open the page "Languages" includes two small frames: First
frame have a list of 31 languages as above > we tick the language that
we want > Immediately, the next frame will be displayed a table showing
how to type in keyboard to have the text of the selected language.
Example: Tick the language "German", a
table showing how to type in keyboard to have the text of
"German" will be as follows:

We
copy the above table on paper .

Click
"OK" button, then we look at the paper and begin typing.

we want to edit any language file, then highlight or tick the file and
click "Edit File" button below > WinVNKey will open a frame
"Edit Language" to change.
D. Type Han Nom
For typing Han Nom, we must download the version that support Han Nom from
WinVNKey home page.

the beginners in typing Han Nom by WinVNKey first time or for users wanting

WinVNKey is not only a multilingual keyboard, but also a versatile

WinVNKey is versatile as MS Word. And Unikey, VPSKeys, ... is as simple as
Notepad. Because more capabilities, the interface of WinVNKey is more
complex than other keyboard drivers, likewise MS Word looks more
complicated than Notepad. That is a price to pay for more functionalities.
Therefore, only any people keen to learn WinVNKey or MS Word, then they
could use of all of its advanced features.
