The following steps are necessary:
Main Control Panel:
Choose a charset (character set or codepage) that supports the particular foreign language you are interested in. You can choose Unicode, which supports all languages.
Choose a keyboard mode, which can be
"Auto Combine (Viet)" if you also want to type Vietnamese
"Combine On Request (English)
Check the box next to the language of interest. You can check more than one language.
Click on the name of the language to see the typing sequences necessary to get foreign characters.
As an example, specific instructions are provided for a few languages such as French, German, Greek, Russian, symbols, etc.
Now you can start typing foreign languages in your applications.
